When a client approaches Princeton Permaculture, the first step is typically an initial conversation to determine whether it is a good fit. If both parties agree to move forward, the next step is for one of Princeton Permaculture's designers to conduct a site analysis. This involves a thorough assessment of the site in order to gather information about its natural features, resources, and constraints.

Based on the site analysis and the client's goals, the designer will develop a concept plan that outlines the key elements of the design, such as the location of gardens, pathways, and structures. This concept plan will then be refined through a process of feedback and revision, in order to ensure that it meets the client's needs and is feasible given the constraints of the site. Once the design has been finalized, the designer will create detailed plans and specifications that can be used for construction and implementation.

During the implementation phase, Princeton Permaculture will work closely with the client to ensure that the design is implemented correctly and that all installations are done to the highest standards. After installation is complete, Princeton Permaculture provides two years of maintenance to ensure the success of the installation. This includes regular visits to the site to assess the health of the plants and soil, make any necessary adjustments to the irrigation system, and provide guidance on ongoing maintenance tasks such as pruning and fertilization.

Throughout the design process and beyond, Princeton Permaculture is committed to working closely with the client to ensure that their permaculture installation meets their needs and is aligned with the principles of permaculture. By providing comprehensive design services, installation, and maintenance, Princeton Permaculture helps clients create beautiful, healthy, and sustainable ecosystems that will thrive for years to come.
